Last updated: September 10, 2026

Effective Date: September 10, 2026

Last Updated: September 10, 2026

Welcome to Raven's DevLink ("we", "our", or "us"), accessible via https://dev-link.net. We provide a feedback aggregation, player sentiment analysis, and intelligence platform designed for game developers and studios.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws, including the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how it is processed, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Data Controller

The entity responsible for processing your personal data is:

2. Categories of Data We Collect

A. Data Collected from Developers / Account Owners

  • Account Information: Email address, user ID, encrypted authentication credentials, and user preferences (e.g., AI automation toggles).
  • Billing Information: Payment card details, billing addresses, and tax identifiers. Note: We do not store full payment card details directly on our servers; all payments are securely processed by our third-party payment gateway (Stripe).
  • System & Usage Data: API keys, project configurations, IP address, browser type, operating system, access timestamps, and interactions with our dashboard.

B. Data Collected via In-Game Player Feedback (Data Processed on Your Behalf)

When players submit feedback through your integrated games, the platform receives:

  • Feedback Content: Free-form text reports, suggestions, bug details, and attached logs.
  • Metadata: Timestamp, platform type (e.g., Steam, Quest, Windows, Xbox), and anonymized session identifiers.

Important Note: We urge developers and players not to submit personally identifiable information (PII) like names, credit card numbers, or physical addresses within feedback text.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data based on the following legal grounds under Art. 6 GDPR:

  • Contract Performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): To create and manage your account, authenticate your login, provide our core software services, process subscription billing, and enforce feature tiers (Free, Plus, Pro).
  • Legitimate Interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): To protect the platform against DDoS attacks, abuse, and API flood attempts (rate limiting); to monitor server uptime; and to diagnose technical bugs.
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): Where required, such as enabling optional automated AI features or non-essential cookies.
  • Legal Obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): To retain accounting, tax, and invoicing records as required by commercial laws.

4. AI Automated Processing & Sub-Processors

Raven's DevLink features an automated engine (Raven AI) for categorization, sentiment scoring, and daily summaries.

How Feedback is Analyzed

When automated AI features are enabled, incoming player feedback text is securely transmitted via API to enterprise AI model providers (such as OpenAI or Google Cloud AI).

No Model Training

We ensure through enterprise developer agreements that your game feedback and project data are never used to train, retrain, or improve public large language models.

AI Fallback

If an AI service request fails or times out, the system defaults to neutral, general tags without exposing or misrouting raw data.

Key Sub-Processors

  • Supabase Inc.: Database hosting, authentication, and backend infrastructure (AWS EU region).
  • Cloudflare Inc.: Domain DNS routing, CDN caching, security firewall, and web hosting via Cloudflare Pages.
  • Stripe Inc.: Payment processing, subscription management, and billing portal.
  • Resend / Amazon SES: Transactional email delivery (login links, critical system notifications).
  • OpenAI LLC / Google Cloud: Natural language processing APIs for feedback summarization and sentiment analysis.

5. Data Retention and Hard Deletion (Right to be Forgotten)

Account Lifetime

We retain your account and project data for as long as your subscription is active.

Account Deletion (Hard Delete)

If you request account deletion through the "Delete Account" button in your dashboard settings or by contacting us, our system triggers a complete cascading purge (ON DELETE CASCADE). Your user profile, project keys, feedback records, and summaries are permanently deleted from active databases, and any active Stripe subscription is cancelled immediately.

Archived Records

Financial invoices must be retained for legal/tax statutory periods (typically 5 to 10 years depending on jurisdiction).

6. International Data Transfers

When data is transferred to sub-processors outside the European Economic Area (EEA), such transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards recognized by the European Commission, specifically:

  • The EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or
  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.

7. Your GDPR Rights

Under Articles 15–22 of the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request permanent deletion of your account and related records.
  • Restriction of Processing: Request a pause on specific processing activities.
  • Data Portability: Receive your feedback records in a structured, machine-readable format (e.g., CSV or JSON).
  • Object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Lodge a Complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Supervisory Authority (e.g., the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali in Italy, or your country's equivalent).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@dev-link.net.

8. Cookies and Local Storage

Raven's DevLink uses strictly necessary technical tokens (stored in localStorage or secure HTTP-only cookies) required to maintain user sessions and authenticate API requests. We do not use third-party behavioral advertising trackers.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational or legal changes. We will notify you of material changes by posting an announcement in your dashboard or sending an email notification.
